Success at fair in Nuremberg - ASSA ABLOY satisfied

The new ASSA ABLOY door closer range was presented exclusively for the European market on the fensterbau fair in Nuremberg.
Tzachi Wiesenfeld, Executive Vice President and Head of Division EMEA of ASSA ABLOY, revealed the new product line solemnly.
"The visitors' positive feedback on the new door closers surprised me", says Karl-Heinz Kästle, responsible product manager at ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik. "The customers were very open-minded about the new program and showed big interest."
Additionally, ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik presented new solutions for electric strikes, access control systems, private houses and mechanical and electronic locking cylinders on a booth of 350 square meters.
"The fair was phenomenal for us", reports Stefan Fischbach, CEO and Market Region Manager Central Europe. "Innovative solutions like the combination of three electric strikes with mechanical multipoint locking for main entrance doors or our ProFix system were appreciated as well as known products like VERSO CLIQ (mechatronic locking cylinders) and MEDIATOR (self-locking escape door lock with electric strike).
And also electronic solutions like the one-door-access control system EdgePlus Solo are more demanded by fabricators.
We made a lot of interesting contacts. And we strengthened the awareness of our brands especially by the fabricators.
With over 100,000 visitors, fensterbau/frontale, the International Trade Fair Window, Door and Facade, has impressively confirmed its status as highlight for the door and window industry.
761 exhibitors from 33 countries have made the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg the hub for wood crafts and windows, doors and facades from 24–27 March 2010.
