VERSO CLIQ secures Italian Railway

Italy's RFI High Speed Rail Link is the biggest engineering work in post-war Italy. Since end of 2009, Turin and Salerno are connected to the High Speed rail link with more than 1,000 km of track along the most saturated national rail line: Turin-Milan-Bologna-Florence-Rome-Naples-Salerno.

All stations have been renovated or are in process to be. The projects for the newly built stations run in scope of  major urban requalification measures.

RFI choosed the VERSO CLIQ mster key system to secure the technical areas in all stations. At the moment, VERSO CLIQ is installed on the route between Milan and Bologna, the installation on the route between Bologna and Florence is in process.
The products installed comprise some hundred electronic and mechanical cylinders and over 1,000 keys so far.

The project has been attended by the Italian ASSA ABLOY Partner Tecnosicurezza s.r.l. Verona.

The technical department of RFI located in Bologna Central Station is very satisfied with the solution: "We made the right choice with the VERSO CLIQ system which is working perfectly and is following our expectations."
